AdventureWorks has been creating high-quality experiential learning programs for secondary school students for 22 years. We keep up-to-date with curriculum changes and contribute to the development of outdoor education unit standards. Our approach values the learner's experience as an essential part of the learning process and places the learner at the center of the learning. AdventureWorks believes that the process of the learning experience is as important as the acquisition of skills and knowledge. We aim to create positive change in groups, individuals, and the environment through the intentional programme and design.
Across all of our training and programs we use experiential learning. Experiential learning puts the learner at the centre of the learning and values the learners experience as a significant part of the learning process. The process of the learning experience is as important as the acquisition of skills and knowledge. Interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the experience of being a member of a group contribute to the learner gaining greater self awarteness an new understanding. Through this process we are committed to creating positive change in groups, individuals and our environment.
